Things happen every now and then, also in WoW. The latest change for me is a mainswap. From priest to Paladin. Paladin has proven to be more fun, and thats really what the game is all about!

Yep, it means I “lost” all the mounts I have worked so hard for. I am kinda hoping blizzard will make pets/mounts/ etc bind on battlnet account atm. I don’t really want to start that “work” all over again :p
After the rest we went up to the tower to take a look at what was happening. And that’s when I saw them. This time clear and close, and nothing but a huge warship. It was looking almost like it was waiting for something, although I have no idea just what that could be. Probably nothing good, it is the horde were talking about after all!
After a small look through the telescope, both me and Laren were sent on our way to the newest outpost. I am really not used to handeling horses, but they were well trained, and my smallest commando they abided to. Lucky for me, or it would have been one messy trip for the both of us. We didn’t get all to far though, seemed someone besides the horde was about as well.
Both me and Laren jumped off, deciding to give a helping hand. And for the first time in my life I saw Ogres. Now I had heard of them, but never seen them before today. It makes me wonder a bit, just what does reside in the outside world, and how protected have I been? Our prince had a good idea to slow down the steady march of the horde though, and I was more than happy to help.
I kinda regretted it a little bit after, but I was just stealing a small banner. Luckily for me it seems the bigger they get, the dumber they also get. And I was able to steal the banner quite easily and get away without the big lug actually getting the idea. He did however yell something about it being missing, and that he would smash whoever was responsible. I do wonder how this banner will do us any good against the horde.
Luckily it seemed our prince had that fully under control. And with something I would never have thought if myself, he stopped the horde from following us with just that banner. Like the big lug yelled, he would smash whomever had taken his banner, and I did mention the lack of smarts in the big lug? Yeh, tossing the banner on the horde when they came, really did the trick. That should at least slow them down just a little.
We reached the new outpost, and there was quite a few refugees there besides us. Seeing them though made me miss my old looks, I am still not all to happy with this whole wolf look. Seems maybe not all of us were cursed after all. But there was some good news here too. Some were talking about Night Elf’s and that they had been spotted not to far from where we were. Now that’s the best news I have heard in a long time, according to my parents tales, Night Elves might be just what we need to help us against the invading horde.
After talking to a few of the refugees, I had a better idea of where we should go, and dragging Laren along, I wanted to see if the rumors were true. If there was elf’s around, maybe they would help?
And it wasn’t long before we found one. Although I was not really sure about her at first. Mostly because of the fact that she seemed to know me somehow, at least enough to warn me and hand me a potion. Can elf’s see the future? That would explain what happened next.
I went down the path, like she said, and just like she said, I was attacked by a horde assassin. Luckily the potion she had handed me undid the trap, and I could handle the assassin on my own, or well, not on my own, Laren was also there. We both went back to the elf, and she told us to keep going. There was more for us to learn. I was not sure what to expect from those words, but hey, she was right the first time.
And once more she was right. The tree she had sent us too looked magical to me, and it was filled with worgens, just like me and Laren. There was so many more that were cursed than I could ever believe and well, I was in for a bigger surprise.

More elves, many of them actually. And what they told me, was perhaps even harder to grasp. From what I understood they might just have the ability to teach me how to shift between the forms, kinda like I can shape shift into a cat. I have to admit it was something I hoped for with all my heart, but it was a voice from behind me that really had me surprised.
I thought our Lord was dead, but no, he was standing there in front of me and Laren, and just like us, he too had been turned. Maybe we were all turned? Maybe it’s just that not all have gone trough the full transformation? Or, maybe some can shift back to their human form, like the elf’s said. And does that mean, that the prince is cursed too? And the king?
We stood at the waters edge for a while, but we were soon enough woken up from the racing questions in our heads. I mean, not everyone had been as lucky as we were, and we could both see and hear the people struggeling in the water. It was only one thing to do then. Dive in after them (Did I mention how much I HATE the wet dog smell?)
Sadly, it wasn’t only our people in the water, there were undeads too. So not only did we have to get them out of the water, we also had to fight off the undead along the way. On a brighter note, I think the rumbling of the land has stopped.
We got as many out of the water as we could, but I doubt we found everyone. No one seems to know what has happened just yet, but I doubt it has stopped the attack in any way, the horde are still here. As we got the final two out of the water, we noticed the prince standing not to far, he too seemed to be busy saving whomever he could. He sent us back up to town, where I learned something new from my trainer.
She called it a druidic from, more commonly known as cat form. Now am I really the only one that sees the irony in this? I mean.. a mutt, that can shift into a cat? But I like it better than my mutt self, I have to admit this.
We were asked to go help out though, and tell people that we had to leave, and move to a more safe location. Once more it seemed that we were loosing the fight against the undead. The first one only wanted us to get some horses, now the second lady we met though, she wanted a little more. Both me and Laren felt somewhat uncomfortable with the whole idea of taking clothing for her. We learned two things from that lady.
One: Never ever underestimate the power of an old lady. Two: Some seem to be able to shift in and out of their “mutt” form. Can you imagine the surprise on our faces when the gentle old lady came running out when the undead threathened her cat, and changed into, well, a mutt, like me!
Finally we were done with warning everyone, and people were packed up and ready to move to higher ground. After all, with what just happened, nothing seemed better to me than to actually head higher up. When we came back to town, we were sent up to the mansion, to speak with the lady and lord who lived there. I had heard stories of them, but hey, I was never really sure they existed. Now I got my chance to check.
I was dreading the run. Its not exactly all to close where we were being sendt, but luckily for us, we were allowed to borrow two horses. Its only the third time or so I have ridden horseback, but for some reason I felt more in control than normal, maybe it came with being turned into an animal myself?
I remember how I imagined this place looking in my dreams and in my fantasies, but it was really nothing like it. It was much much better! Even the carriages that were on the outside seemed so much prettier than I would ever have been able to imagine. Luckily for me, Laren was there to pull me ahead and towards where we were actually going.
We were not the only ones there, actually it seemed quite a few people had found their way, and they were all wondering the same thing. What were we to do now. I still don’t see how she could keep so calm. But she did, nothing it seemed could push her out of her noble pose. Once more it was Laren who pulled me alone, as I was completely lost in the scenery and in the lady that was handeling everything.
I had gotten a robe before we left the town, and I had luckily for me remembered to bring it along. I still don’t like wearing robes, even less I think as a mutt, but I am pretty sure that it was one of these occasions where it was just a good choice. Luckily for us, the lady seemed to not be bothered with what we were. She was however more worried about if we had eaten. I have to admit, that was something we both had forgotten about. So before she would tell us anything, we were sent to a dining room, with well, orders to eat.
I have to admit, I wish I could stay, but after we had our meal, we both knew that we were far from done. And at least I was still wondering, what was happening to our land, and were the undeads still around?
It’s strange, with my new looks, grown people turn away or scowl at you when they think you no longer hear and see them. But when you find children, they simply accept you. I can’t say why this is, but it was very visible to me and Laren when we were running around. I think my hearing has improved too, as I could hear sobbing, even from inside a house.
As me and Laren walked through the cornfield, sobbing could clearly be heard, but that was not all. Other sounds, and the smell of death was there too. We soon found a young girl who I at first thought we might have scared. But it was then she looked at us, pointing at something in the cornfield; An undead soldier. Telling her to run to the basement from earlier, we looked at each other. Just what had happened to our home?
As we cleared away some unwanted walking bones, we found another child. This time it was a young boy. And he had more to tell us then the first child. He told us, that before all this, he had seen ships, and they had pulled up to the docks. I sat down on my knees and looked at him, there was clearly something more. With a bit of coaxing he finally told me; The ships had skulls on their sides, they were undead warships.
We had to investigate this, and true enough, down at the docks, were the horde warships. It was a scary sight, I have never seen them up close, just in old books with tales from before we closed the gates. Having found them, we decided to go back. Someone had to tell the prince about it, something had to be done.
Luckily we can run faster now than what we could as human. I guess the fact that I could feel the ground shake didn’t help on the whole eerie feeling my home was giving me. As if this curse wasn’t enough, I was no longer sure home would stay home for much longer.
We didn’t get to far though, before we noticed someone that looked quite different from the normal bags o’bones that we had seen running around already. This lady was mounted, and she saw us before we saw her. Just as she was about to attack though, a surge of dogs came from no where, leaving both me and Laren looking around for who the owner was. But we saw no one, and as soon as the undead was beaten, they disappeared just as silently as they had appeared.
It was when we turned our heads that we saw it though, and I think my eyes doubled in size. In the shadows looming like some kind of nightmare was a horde airship. And under it, there was so many more warships that I could not even count it. Just what were they doing here anyways? I was woken from my thought’s by another shake to the ground. Much more violently this time around. Laren pulled me along, although I could just not take my eyes off the ship in the distance. Finally we came back to the basement from earlier, where we got the message delivered to our prince, but before we could take any action, the ground shook so violently I was almost sure the house and basement would collapse.
As the shaking finally stopped, we walked out, and the sight that we saw, just took both our breaths away. Just what was happening to our home?
My veranda!
Its normally something that just happens in the winters, things end up out there and I have no idea why. I guess its something with it being cold, and me being the lazy kinda, its just something that’s bound to happen. So what did I do with my first day of Easter Vacation? Yep, I went out in the sun, to fix my veranda. Sadly.. I forgot all about taking pictures of the before situation.
My cats seemed happy enough with the end result. No more silly things my cat can eat and then come inside and then decide to throw back up again, preferably over some cords that I’d rather not have her do that on.. She is a cat after all.

I think, my cats are really enjoying the whole spring thing as well. At least I believe that is what she is smirking about. Still wondering who had the idea of a mirror out there, it was there when I bought the apartment. I hope, the rest of this vacation has a nice weather as today!

Yeh, like i mentioned, things have changed. Me included. I really don’t remember much from the time between I was caught and the time where I was told I changed. But I do remember how it felt being stuck in a pillory having a lot of people look at you.
Its really not a very pleasant feeling at all. Specially when what they are talking about it putting you down, like the mutt you have become.

I was pretty sure they were going to put me down, but to my surprise I was allowed to live, after taking some kinda foul tasting potion. Its not hard to guess that I chose the potion, and to my surprise it worked, and as an even bigger surprised they let me out, and man, I can tell you it was just so good to stretch my back again
It feels different now. I am still me, but I know how I look after I found a mirror. I guess it could be worse, I still look decent enough. Not quite sure about all this fur though, I already smell like a wet dog whenever it rains… The guards of the small town where most of the surviors are doesn’t seem to fully trust me, but I guess, I can’t really blame them for that. So many of us were killed, by well, just someone like me.
The first thing I saw though was not something good. As if the whole curse wasn’t enough, my home is being invaded, by Horde. I have never seen so many “bags o’bones” in my life, and I was not very happy with seeing them right outside the small town, ships and all.
As I wandered about a bit, still trying to wrap my head around all the things that had happened, well I guess you can say I got lost in my own little world. Didn’t even hear the undead rogue that snuck up on me. Trust me, cold blades against you back you never really want to feel that. Time seemed to stand still for me, and I was sure that my time had come, but then, the feeling of daggers to my back disappeared, and suddenly I found myself seeing someone else.
I wasn’t sure what to believe. I surly hadn’t seen him, and I had no idea where he came from. The only thing I did know was that he had just saved my life.
Just when I was about to thank this stranger for saving me, he opened his mouth. It was then it dawned on me who this worgen was, and I really couldn’t believe it. No one else I knew, would comment on smelling like a wet dog to someone they had just met. Larentius, my childhood friend had made it! Well, at least in some way. He had simply suffered the same faith as me, and to my relief he was about as shocked when he realised who I was.
We decided to team up, two people work better than one. And from the sneak attack from that undead, we were both pretty sure that we would be quite busy. Stopping the horde, was suddenly our first priority. Luckily our prince had a plan for some of the bigger attackers, and I know, I was not the only one to snicker a bit. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

One has to like things that go boom. Besides, they had the strangest comments when you put a barrel over their heads. I have no idea why, but it might be the bigger they get, the dumber they get, not only the harder they fall. Luckily our prince is quite the sharp shooter, I have to admit, I was impressed. I am not sure how much good it did though, but for now it seems to have calmed down again.
We took a walk that same evening, me and Laren, and it was strange to walk around outside the city. We even found what seemed to be a small farm. Luckily the guard dogs let us walk past them, although I was a bit worried when one of them snarled and barred its teeth. It was strange, I was sure I had been here before, but I couldn’t remember why I would think so.
As an even bigger surprise, the old basement was filled with people. People I really couldn’t remember at all. Yet the basement itself still felt very familiar. I don’t know what it is, but people with guns still trigger my mind back to the time in that pillory. We still stayed for a while, I kept trying to remember just why this place seemed so familiar. Maybe turning into a worgen did something to my memory?
I had the idea from a friend who did something on a rp forum I used to be on. So with this, I remade my worgen druid, and decided to start her from the beginning. This time to tell her story.

So, after all that has happened, I have decided to write stuff down in a diary. I guess its the best way to keep a track of things. My name is Izayoi Deegan, and I was born and raised in the city if Gilneas. I had a good upbringing with a loving mother and father, not really much to complain about. Until, everything changed
Somehow we have been invaded, by a strange wolf looking creature. I heard someone call them the worgen, and they can bee seen all over Gilneas now. I can see them on the rooftops, just jumping from one to the other. Its almost scary to watch them. I also have to admit, I find them rather fascinating, specially how they can jump like it seems they can.
It seems though, that the walls and gates that were created to keep us safe, now server almost as a jail, and we can’t get out. I guess, if some of the rumors are true, that might be just as well. I am one of the few that are still here, trying to buy the rest time, or at least that was what I was told. I am really not all to sure how much I can do, but if it helps save people, I am pretty sure that’s how my parents would have wanted it

Yeh, even the crows are leaving, that’s not a good sign is it? Our town is in general overrun, and its not looking good at all, from what I can see, they seem to be endless, while we, well, our numbers are dwindling. Some of our best men are here, trying to save more. Its hard when wave after wave of worgen come against you. Even our King, Genn Greymane is out of his castle, doing his best to get this, well, I guess you can call it plague, under some kinda control

I was told to find someone, and that’s when my life really changed. I couldn’t understand why he stood like he did, and he yelled at me to get away. But I reacted to late, and now I have a really annoying bite mark on my neck. It itches a bit, but meh, I will get by. Its not like I haven’t been bitten before.
There seems some of the worgen have the ability to hide. Luckily I got to borrow a dog to help me sniff them out. It was extremely efficient, and I have to admit, I would have liked to borrow it for longer than I did. I guess his owner needed him back though.

The strange part is that the more we fought, the more of them there became. I can’t really explain it all that well, its just that they seemed to be in an endless amount. I also noticed, some of them had clothing, just like we normally wear..

Saving someone on a horse is nothing I normally do, but I got to today. I have to admit the horse was well trained. It wasn’t a safe feeling to watch all those worgen come after us. But the horse stayed calm, and brought us back safe.
Me and the prince took a small ride as well, this time though to draw as many of them as we could. The more that followed us, the better. That gave others time to get out and away without having a bunch of worgen after them. Can’t really complain about being this close to a prince either now can I?
That bite got worse as time went on, seriously.. I still can not believe that bastard bit me! I mean, whats the point in that? It itched like mad, and I can clearly remember feeling sick as a dog. Still I kept fighting, wanting to help, not really knowing just what was about to happen to me.

They even entered our church. I never ever thought I would fight in a church, but there I was, using my newly learned spells, trying to handle them all. But that’s when it happened, that bite, its all his fault!
I can’t remeber his name, but I am still not sure if I should hate him or love him. I guess my judgement on that will have to come later. I guess in general, I will figure it all out later, if this really is a curse, or a blessing. Whats worse.. I still have no idea if my childhood friend still lives, I can only hope that he somehow made it out, and that he will accept the new me.
